Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) has contracted BAM International, the operating company of Royal BAM Group active outside of Europe, to design and construct the Aqaba New Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal, 18km south of Aqaba.

A joint industry project focused on the use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on the West Coast aims to identify and address barriers for LNG as a marine fuel in Canada. The estimated USD 1.2M project involves 17 participating organizations including Port Metro Vancouver, BC Ferries, Seaspan, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology along with marine classification societies, technology and services providers, standards development groups, federal and provincial governments, and natural gas producers and suppliers.

BOC and Stobart to expand use of low-carbon HGVs
BOC has announced cooperation with logistics specialists, Stobart Group, to quantify the benefits of low-carbon Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as fuel for its fleet of heavy goods vehicles.
Gasunie and Vopak sign agreement with Shell
Gas infrastructure company N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie (Gasunie) and liquid bulk storage provider Royal Vopak (Vopak) have signed an agreement with Royal Dutch Shell (Shell) as launching customer for their LNG Break Bulk terminal, to be constructed at the Maasvlakte near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The purpose of this terminal is to make LNG available for distribution to marine bunkering and truck fuelling stations. In this way liquefied natural gas (LNG) can be used as a clean alternative transport fuel.
