Air Products’ LNG Technology for Freeport LNG

Air Products announced an agreement to provide its proprietary LNG technology, equipment, and process license for Freeport LNG Development’s Train 3 gas liquefaction and export project. The sale includes Air Products’ main cryogenic coil-wound heat exchangers and associated technology, which will be vital in the production of LNG at the facility near Freeport, Texas.

Ennsub completes work on Wheatstone LNG platform

Subsea products and equipment manufacturer Ennsub has successfully completed the design, manufacture, testing and installation of bespoke sealing systems for the Wheatstone Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) platform off the coast of Australia. The company was approached by a tier-one marine contractor to design two different systems to provide an external and internal sealing system for 64-off 8” NS ballasting pipes located at each corner of the platform.

Zachry wins LNG Liquefaction Terminal contract

Gasunie and Vopak sign agreement with Shell

Nederlandse Gasunie (Gasunie) and liquid bulk storage provider Royal Vopak (Vopak) have signed an agreement with Royal Dutch Shell (Shell) as launching customer for their LNG Break Bulk terminal, to be constructed at the Maasvlakte near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The purpose of this terminal is to make LNG available for distribution to marine bunkering and truck fuelling stations. In this way liquefied natural gas (LNG) can be used as a clean alternative transport fuel.
