Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) has contracted BAM International, the operating company of Royal BAM Group active outside of Europe, to design and construct the Aqaba New Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal, 18km south of Aqaba.

The purpose of this terminal is to make LNG available for distribution to marine bunkering and truck fuelling stations. In this way liquefied natural gas (LNG) can be used as a clean alternative transport fuel.
