Larsen & Toubro win gas pipeline project
Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has announced that it has received two orders worth USD 639 million from UAE. One order is from Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd (GASCO) for its Habshan-Ruwais-Shuweihat (52in/48in dia) gas pipeline project.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has secured a INR 364 crore order from UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadam Nigam Ltd during the first quarter of FY 2009-10 for setting up Coal Handling Plant (CHP) at Anpara in UP and another contract for INR 489 crore from Neyveli Lignite Corp. Ltd for setting up a CHP at Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd may bid for construction of a nuclear power plant to be built by the Indian government, with support from Russia, in Tamilnadu state, a company official has said.
