Konecranes appoints new president & CEO
Panu Routila has been appointed president and CEO of Konecranes. Routila will start in his new position during the autumn, but no later than by the end of the year. He succeeds Pekka Lundmark who will leave Konecranes in September to pursue his career outside the company.
Konecranes appoints new chief digital officer
Juha Pankakoski has been appointed as the chief digital officer of Konecranes. He will be responsible for all information systems and the overall process architecture of Konecranes.
Konecranes to deliver 2 STS cranes to Port of Oslo
Konecranes received an order from the Port of Oslo, Norway, for two Panamax-size Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes with an option for one more STS. Expected to be amongst the most silent and eco-efficient STS cranes in the world, the cranes are scheduled for delivery in the autumn of 2015.
