Tangguh LNG Project FEED contract for KBR
KBR announced that its partnership with PT Rekayasa Industri, JGC Corporation and PT JGC Indonesia, the RJK JV, has been awarded the onshore front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by BP for a third liquefaction train at the Tangguh LNG Project in West Papua province, Indonesia.The expansion project follows the successful completion of the two-train Tangguh LNG plant in 2009 and associated facilities by a joint venture partnership between JGC Corporation, KBR and PT Pertafenikki Engineering (KJP JV). The KD Consortium, consisting of KBR and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Company, won the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Eni East Africa for a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility for the Coral South Development Project located in Mozambique.
Kvaerner, KBR partner for Johan Sverdrup contract
Kvaerner and KBR would be establishing a joint venture to bid on offshore platform topsides contracts for the Johan Sverdrup field development offshore Norway. The alliance combines Kvaerner's expertise and resources as a turnkey contractor for offshore platforms with KBR's competence as an international offshore oil and gas contractor.
KBR awards Subsea 7 for Chevron project
KBR today announced that it was selected by Subsea 7 to perform the topsides design for the Chevron Lianzi development project in a unitized offshore zone between the Republic of Congo and the Republic of Angola.
