KBR has been selected by the BG Group as their Global Upstream Alliance Partner. The six-year contract includes an option for two two-year extensions, and provides capability support services (Pre-FEED and FEED) and project management services across all of BG Group’s Global Upstream Portfolio.

KBR announced that its partnership with PT Rekayasa Industri, JGC Corporation and PT JGC Indonesia, the RJK JV, has been awarded the onshore front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by BP for a third liquefaction train at the Tangguh LNG Project in West Papua province, Indonesia.The expansion project follows the successful completion of the two-train Tangguh LNG plant in 2009 and associated facilities by a joint venture partnership between JGC Corporation, KBR and PT Pertafenikki Engineering (KJP JV).

The KD Consortium, consisting of KBR and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Company, won the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Eni East Africa for a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility for the Coral South Development Project located in Mozambique.
