Aiming at its advent in structural infrastructure applications, Jindal Stainless signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently with Braithwaite & Co Limited (BCL), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, to develop stainless steel foot-over-bridges (FOBs), road-over-bridges (ROBs) etc., on the sidelines of the ongoing International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) in New Delhi.

IIT Kharagpur and Jindal Stainless have tiedâ€?up to introduce a 3â€?credit course on stainless steel and advanced ferrous alloys as a part of the former’s undergraduate and postâ€?graduate curriculum for the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

Jindal Stainless has lined up a Rs 1000 crore investment for its proposed ferro chrome unit, stainless steel melting plant and a captive power unit.
