Corrotherm International has announced that they have signed a  distribution/representation agreement with voestalpine BÖHLER Bleche & Co KG.

The Women in Steel group is meeting on March 31st 2020 at the wire+Tube exhibitions in Dusseldorf, Germany. The initiative was started by Jan Ward, CEO of Corrotherm.

Jan Ward CBE, founder and CEO of UK-based company Corrotherm International, has received the honorary degree of Doctor of Engineering from Southampton Solent University. Jan started Corrotherm in 1992 to supply high grade metals to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power and desalination markets, and since then the company has gone from strength to strength to establish a strong global presence with offices in ten countries. A mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in metals manufacturing and distribution, Jan worked at board level for several specialist metal producers and distributors prior to founding Corrotherm.

The CEO of Corrotherm, Ms Jan Ward is one of 26 people in the Hampshire (UK) region to appear on the Queen’s New Year Honours list. Jan has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her prominent role within the business community at an international, national and regional level.

Jan Ward has won the title of “Global Director of the Year” at the London and South East Director of the Year Awards, held on Wednesday 11th June at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London.
