Indian PM may raise Mittal Steel/Arcelor issue
It is reported in media that hostile reaction from Luxembourg governments towards Mittal Steel’s bid for Arcelor is likely to figure in the discussions between Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh with French President Mr Jacques Chirac.
Luxembourg PM to discuss steel bid
Prime Minister Mr Jean-Claude Juncker of Luxembourg will meet French President Mr Jacques Chirac on 1 February to discuss Mittal Steel’s hostile takeover bid for Arcelor, the French president’s office said on 30 January.
