China unveils 1.5 GW offshore wind hydrogen project
The China Baowu Iron and Steel Group subsidiary Baowu Clean Energy has launched the Baowu Qingneng (Yangjiang) Green Hydrogen Industrial Park, using 1.5 GW of offshore wind directly connected to electrolysers to target ~80 kt/year of green hydrogen, alongside a green ammonia line and planned hydrogen pipeline infrastructure
