ArcelorMittal announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire an 80% shareholding in voestalpine’s world-class Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) plant located in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tenaris SA and Sidor have signed an agreement with Posven (Venezuela) for the sale and purchase of its assets – principally an industrial facility for the production of pre-reduced hot briquetted iron, or HBI, located in Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.
