Henkel continues to support its customers in the global metal coil industry with an extensive range of process solutions for lubrication, pickling, cleaning, pretreatment, passivation, and lamination.

To further drive the adoption of 3D Printing technologies beyond prototyping to final parts production Henkel has joined Origin´s open materials platform.

Henkel has helped Envases Técnicos Zaragoza S.L. (Entinox), a Spanish manufacturer of stainless steel beer barrels, set up an innovative pickling and passivating line using a nitric acid-free Bonderite process.

The Bonderite C-CP technology from Henkel for pickling of stainless steel is well-known for the diverse cost and environmental benefits it offers.

Henkel introduces new Bonderite duaLCys process for the metalworking industry. Bonderite duaLCys process exploits lubricant-cleaner synergies to reduce costs, boost performance, save energy, lower waste generation, and improve working conditions. In the Bonderite duaLCys process, the cleaning fluid is recycled into the lubricant bath, rather than being discarded as waste. Martin Desinger, business development manager, Lubricants, Europe, at Henkel Adhesive Technologies said: “Recycling the cleaning fluid instead of throwing it away, and making use of synergies between it and the water-soluble cutting fluid, results in an excellent combination of high lubricity, superior part cleanliness and excellent corrosion protection.” This new process is the synergy between a lubricant and a cleaner: Bonderite C-NE 10466 high-performance, water-based neutral cleaner, and Bonderite L-MR 21466 cutting fluid.

Henkel Adhesive Technologies has signed joint development agreement with US-based DropWise Technologies Corp. DropWise has developed technology, intellectual property and lab-scale manufacturing of hydrophobic coating applications.
