WEC spreads its wings to Glasgow
WEC Group Ltd has opened a brand new office in Glasgow, Scotland to facilitate the company's rapid growth. WEC Group's operations primarily took place in the North of England, before expanding to the West Midlands in 2016 when the company acquired Coventry-based HTA Group and opened its first sales office in Stafford.
TATA to invest in two Scottish plants
TATA Steel will invest GBP 8 million into one of its two Scottish plants, increasing its output by up to 50%. The company is set to unveil the plans for the Clydebridge plant in Cambuslang, Glasgow, which will boost its capability to produce high-strength steel plate. The plant carries out two processes, quenching and tempering, that strengthen steel plate.
