Private investors buy EVRAZ Vitkovice Steel

EVRAZ closed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, EVRAZ Vitkovice Steel (EVS), to a group of private investors – Martinley Holdings, Nabara Holdings, Vitect Services, Hayston Investments and Dawnaly Investments – with each buying 20% of EVS for a gross consideration of USD 89M adjustable for the actual level of EVS working capital.

EVRAZ launches rolling mill in Kostanay

EVRAZ completed the construction and launch of its light-section rolling mill in Kostanay, Kazakhstan. The investment project has been implemented by TOO Evraz Caspian Steel, a joint venture between EVRAZ (65%) and Kazakhstani company Caspian Group (35%).

EVRAZ North America appoints new EVP

Jerry Reed will take charge as EVRAZ North America’s new executive vice president – Long Products, the position formerly held by president and CEO Conrad Winkler.

Reed originally joined EVRAZ in early 2011 as the senior vice president – Business Development for North America.
