EVRAZ closed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, EVRAZ Vitkovice Steel (EVS), to a group of private investors – Martinley Holdings, Nabara Holdings, Vitect Services, Hayston Investments and Dawnaly Investments – with each buying 20% of EVS for a gross consideration of USD 89M adjustable for the actual level of EVS working capital.
EVRAZ launches rolling mill in Kostanay
EVRAZ completed the construction and launch of its light-section rolling mill in Kostanay, Kazakhstan. The investment project has been implemented by TOO Evraz Caspian Steel, a joint venture between EVRAZ (65%) and Kazakhstani company Caspian Group (35%).

Jerry Reed will take charge as EVRAZ North America’s new executive vice president – Long Products, the position formerly held by president and CEO Conrad Winkler.

EVRAZ Highveld, Arkein join hands
EVRAZ confirmed that EVRAZ Highveld Steel and Vanadium (EVRAZ Highveld) — EVRAZ’s South African subsidiary — and Arkein International (Arkein) have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture, Nyanza Light Metals (Nyanza).
