Ecoplants special steel plant put into operation
Fuxin Special Steel, Taiwan, has successfully commissioned a steelworks supplied by SMS Siemag for manufacturing stainless steel slabs at the Zhangzhou location in the Chinese Fujian Province. It is the first stainless steel plant in the world to utilise the waste heat from the AOD converter and the electric arc furnace.
