ContourGlobal inaugurates Asa Branca
Power development and operating company ContourGlobal inaugurated its first Wind Farm Complex in Brazil, the 160MW Asa Branca Wind Park in Rio Grande do Norte, in Brazil’s northeast. Dignitaries and community members including State Governor Rosalba Carlini and other local and national authorities were present for the inauguration of the Wind Farm located in João Câmara, Parazinho and Jandaíra.
Rwanda: methane-extraction facility
ContourGlobal has entered into an agreement with the government of Rwanda to construct and operate an integrated gas-extraction unit and a 100MW power-generation facility at Lake Kivu on the Rwanda-Congo border.
