Chevron Corporation has recently named Stephen W. Green president of Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration and Production effective April 1, 2016. Green, 58, succeeds Melody B. Meyer who is retiring from Chevron after 37 years of distinguished service to pursue other opportunities, effective June 1.

Chevron starts oil production from Papa-Terra
Chevron Corporation’s Brazilian subsidiary and Petrobras have started crude oil production from Papa-Terra’s FPSO offshore Brazil.

P-63 goes to final location after completing additional
The P-63 FPSO ended being temporarily located in Ilha de Santana, in Macaé (RJ), after it was finished within the set period. This was to complete additional works resulting from a change in the underwater layout of the wells, which was carried out to adhere to environmental licensing conditions.
Technip bags Chevron North Sea subsea contract
Technip won a substantial engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract from Esso Highlands, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, for the Alder field. Chevron is developing the Alder field as a subsea tieback to the Britannia Bridge Link Platform (BLP).
