Outotec's Board of Directors has recently appointed Mr. Markku Teräsvasara (51) as Outotec's new Chief Executive Officer.

Outokumpu announced the appointment of Michael Williams as the president and head of Business Area Coil Americas and member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team as of 1 July 2015. Williams has over two decades of experience in the metals industry, including sixteen years at US Steel where he held a number of senior leadership positions, as well as the position of the CEO in Ormet Corporation, an aluminium company.

Severstal North America (SNA), a subsidiary of OAO Severstal, appointed Olga Petrova as the CFO, and Michael Tuomey as the deputy CFO. Mika Seitovirta has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Outokumpu by its Board of Directors. He will assume the position effective 1 April 2011, succeeding current CEO, Juha Rantanen, who will leave the position 31 March 2011. Rantanen will support the new CEO until August 2011.
