Following application from a working group spearheaded by the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA), the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) has formally agreed a new set of operational guidelines and code of practice (OGCP) regarding the use of stainless-steel products in contact with drinking water for public supply.

The British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA) has recently launched its own “Stainless Steel Specialist Courseâ€? to provide a benchmark for skills within the industry and offer participants the chance to develop their knowledge of the material to an accredited standard.
