Groundbreaking Ceremony for a new biorefinery in Malaysia

PETRONAS, Enilive and Euglena have broken ground on a new biorefinery within the Pengerang Integrated Complex in Johor, designed to process up to 650,000 tonnes of renewable feedstock a year into SAF, HVO and bio-naphtha. Targeted to start up in the second half of 2028, the complex will require extensive stainless steel process equipment, storage tanks and piping systems for biofuels and feedstock handling.

Nickel Institute publication show biofuels benefit
