The Croatian oil and gas company INA has awarded Axens a license agreement to supply Futurol™ cellulosic ethanol technology and contract for basic engineering design of an advanced bioethanol production plant in Sisak, Croatia.

ExxonMobil announced that ExxonMobil catalysts and Licensing LLC and Axens have signed a licensing alliance agreement to allow Axens to provide ExxonMobil’s FLEXICOKING™ technology and integrated resid conversion solutions.

Shenghong Refining & Chemical (Lianyungang) Co., Ltd has selected Axens’ ebullated-bed residue hydrocracking technology H-Oil® for a capacity of 3,200,000 tons per year in combination with a 3,450,000 tons per year tons distillates hydrocracking technology HyK™ as the key units of its residue valorization for its petrochemical complex in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China.

Axens has been awarded several contracts for the expansion of the existing residue conversion facilities at S-Oil’s Onsan refinery in South Korea. The Residue Upgrading Complex Project (RUCP) is aimed at reducing fuel oil production while producing propylene through the conversion of atmospheric residue and will include the world’s first commercial High Severity FCC unit (HS-FCC™). Axens has supplied a number of technologies for the RUCP.

Foster Wheeler Energy Limited has been awarded an engineering contract by OAO Salavatnefteorgsintez (SNOS) for a fluidised catalytic cracking (FCC) complex in Russia.

Technip has been awarded by Motor Oil Hellas SA a lump-sum turn-key contract for the addition of new process units and utilities at their refinery in Corinth, Greece.
