Ultra high tensile strength steel at AM/NS Calvert

ArcelorMittal and the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up an automotive steel manufacturing facility under a Joint Venture (JV) arrangement in India. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih supplies rebar in Ukraine

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has supplied more than 700 tons of 8mm–28mm rebar for the construction of a new, flagship Volkswagen car showroom, Volkswagen Center Kryvyi Rih, which is scheduled to open in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, in February 2015. Valeriy Hresko, Director of Volkswagen Center Kryvyi Rih said: “In 2013 we began the construction of the first Volkswagen dealer centre in Kryvyi Rih and finished the works at the end of 2014.

ArcelorMittal steel for AREVA steam generators

Industeel, a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal specialising in the production of ingots and high value-added steel plates, is to supply 4,000t of steel to AREVA for the building of six steam generators at the Koeberg nuclear power station in South Africa.   AREVA won a EUR 300M contract in September to replace the generators at the nuclear power station close to Cape Town, operated by Eskom, South Africa’s public electricity company. ArcelorMittal announces 700 new jobs in France
