Wintershall awarded exploration licenses in Brazil
Wintershall is continuing its growth course and has now been awarded exploration licenses in Brazil. In its 15th bidding round, Brazil’s National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) has awarded interests in seven licenses to Germany's largest internationally active oil and gas producer.
DoC for the Iara area, offshore Brazil
BG Group's partner Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras), as the operator of block BM-S-11 in the pre-salt Santos Basin, has submitted the Declarations of Commerciality (DoC) to the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) for three separate oil and gas accumulations in the Iara area, offshore Brazil.
Brazil’s ANP Approves Karoon’s PAD
Karoon received written notification from the Agência Nacional do Petróleo (ANP) that the Discovery Appraisal Plan (Plano de Avaliação de Descobertas or PAD) for blocks S‐M‐1101, S‐M‐1102, S‐M‐1037, S‐M‐1165 and S‐M‐1166 has been approved.
