AkzoNobel, Evonik start up JV plant

The Ningbo multi-site covers around 50 hectares and accommodates production for chelates, ethylene amines, ethylene oxide, organic peroxides and Bermocoll cellulose derivatives.
AkzoNobel plans further investment in China
AkzoNobel has announced its plans to invest a further EUR 65 million in China. The investment will be used to boost capacity and significantly improve operations at AkzoNobel's Surface Chemistry manufacturing sites in Boxing and Ningbo.
AkzoNobel expands Mid-East operations
AkzoNobel has signed an expanded joint venture agreement with the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo group of companies in an effort toward growth in the Middle East
The deal strengthens the existing joint venture between AkzoNobel and Kanoo, which only covers the supply of the company's International Paint brand, along with coil and packaging coatings.
