ABB has won an order worth approximately USD 270 million from Statoil to provide an electric drive system for two new pre-compression units. The units will be used to improve production capacity and extend the lifespan of the world’s largest natural gas platform in the North Sea.
ABB to build Etrion’s solar parks
Etrion Corp. has announced an agreement with ABB to complete Etrion's 10MW Helios ITA 3 solar project under construction in the Puglia region of Italy. Etrion will own the power plants, and ABB will design, construct and provide operations and maintenance services for the parks.
ABB receives photovoltaic plant order
ABB has received a USD 50 million order from Phenix Renewables to deliver a 24MW photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant in Lazio, Italy. Once connected to the grid, the Phenix solar plant will provide up to 35GWh of electricity each year, avoiding the generation of over 25,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
ABB receives wind power orders in Brazil
ABB has received orders worth USD 32 million to supply five new transformer substations and construct overhead transmission lines. This order will serve 14 wind farms with a generation capacity of 300MW.
