Swire expands across Asia Pacific

Swire Oilfield Services has invested millions of dollars in the Asia Pacific region during the past two years.
Swire Oilfield Services is a leading global supplier of cargo carrying solutions, modular systems, offshore aviation services and fluid management.
The company’s success and commitment in region has been demonstrated in South East Asia through securing six new long-term contracts, establishing an office in Kuala Lumpur, new supply bases in Malaysia and an additional supply base in Maura, Brunei, complementing the established presence to the south in Kuala Belait, all in less than a year since the establishment of its new regional headquarters in Singapore. In addition, the company has expanded its Australasian operation and is completing construction of new operational support facilities in Karratha, Australia.
“We have been operating in the region since 2010 and we now have the largest range of equipment in the region supporting our growing customer list, making us the largest operator,” said Asia Pacific Regional General Manager for Swire Oilfield Services, Troy Brice. “We have established a regional engineering team, based in Singapore, which has strengthened our offering. This team will be key to the success of our new long-term contracts, which include India and Sakhalin.”
