Subsea 7 secures an EPC contract in US Gulf of Mexico

Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has won a sizeable EPC and offshore installation contract in the US Gulf of Mexico from an undisclosed client.

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, and offshore installation of a water injection flowline, hull piping, and associated subsea infrastructure.

Project management and engineering work will start immediately at Subsea 7’s office in Houston, Texas, and offshore activity is expected to begin in 2026.

The sizeable contract in the company’s terms is somewhere between USD 50M and USD 150M.
