Stork sells Polmor

Stork NV completed the sale of its 66.7% shareholding in Polmor on 30 December 2003. Polmor, part of Stork Industrial Components, has 300 employees and produces structures made from stainless steel, aluminium and carbon steel girders and sheet, for use particularly in the railway industry. The decision to sell the company was taken because it no longer forms part of Stork’s strategic activities. The Stork shareholding has been sold to the management of the company, which is based in Bytów, Poland. Polmor will no longer form part of the Stork organisation with effect from January 2004 and will continue its operations as an independent company under the present management.
