Stefan Müller-Bernhardt appointed CEO of La Meusienne

Starting January 2022, Stefan Müller-Bernhardt is appointed CEO of La Meusienne in Ancerville, France, one of the leading European producers of welded stainless steel tubes.
A German national born in 1965, married with 3 children, he will be Chief Executive Officer of La Meusienne from January 2022
Going back to his roots, as Mr Müller-Bernhardt already worked as European Sales Manager for La Meusienne in France between 1988 and 1998. With more than 20 years of experience as COO/CEO in the stainless steel business, this expert is coming back to take over the General Management as CEO of the company.
Over the past few years, Mr Müller-Bernhardt held CEO/COO positions at Seditube (Benteler Group) then Voss Edelstahlhandel, where he launched the French market penetration as MD in 2001. Between 2010 and 2016 he reorganized and successfully integrated the IMS western distribution units into the Stappert Group after the takeover of IMS by the Jacquet Metal Service Group. Most recently, between 2017 and 2021 he held the position of CEO at Damstahl Central, before joining the LICAP group in 2022.
LICAP GmbH, a Lichtenstein Investment Fund, took over La Meusienne from the German Mutares Group in Summer 2021. Mr Müller-Bernhardt will continue the consolidation and development of La Meusienne after the successful turnaround achieved over the last 5 years.
