Austria-based Steel & Metals Market Research (SMR), the independent consultancy in the stainless steel and special steel industry, has established SMR Premium, a new subsidiary in Düsseldorf. The scope of the new company is to research and analyse the world markets for High Value Products in Specialty Metals -Alloys.
Target clients will be producers of ‘remelted steels’, forgings (open- and closed-die) or any other high value metals and alloys including powder metallurgy. SMR Premium provides market volumes, market structures and competitor analysis as well as market forecasts. As a boutique consultancy, any project will be customised to the client’s strategic needs.

SMR Premium will be managed by Benedikt Blitz as the managing partner, who has been a market analyst with SMR in Austria for almost 10 years. Blitz holds a degree in Process Technology and Environmental Technology.
