Steel Dynamics, Inc. has appointed Matt Bell as the new head of its metals recycling platform. In his expanded role, Bell will serve as Vice President of Metals Recycling and President of OmniSource, overseeing all operations across the company’s recycling division.
Bell most recently served as Vice President of Commercial for OmniSource since 2023. Since joining Steel Dynamics in 2016, he has taken on progressively senior leadership roles within the metals recycling platform, spanning operations, commercial strategy, and marketing. Before joining the company, Bell held several leadership positions in the metals recycling industry.
