Steel Dynamics, Inc. has appointed James Anderson and Chad Bickford to key leadership positions.
James Anderson will now oversee the Long Products Steel Group, bringing with him a wealth of experience in successfully leading and expanding the company’s Steel Fabrication business. Anderson served as President of New Millennium Building Systems since 2019 and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer from 2015 to 2019. Prior to his tenure at New Millennium, Anderson served as General Manager of the company’s three flat rolled steel galvanizing lines based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Chad Bickford will assume responsibility for the Steel Fabrication Group, overseeing New Millennium Building Systems. Bickford has been integral to the company’s operations, having previously served as responsible for the Butler Flat Roll Steel Division since February 2023 and the Engineered Bar Products Steel Division from 2021 to 2023, in the capacity of General Manager for each location. Bickford’s tenure with New Millennium dates back to 2003, during which he held various leadership roles encompassing engineering, commercial, and marketing responsibilities, including a stint as General Manager overseeing the Virginia steel fabrication facility from 2013 to 2021.
