Stancold announces a project in food & drink industry

Stancold announced a new project due on site soon within the food & drink industry.
Phase one saw Stancold undertake the installation of a WIP store and blast chiller, which included all hygienic panelling, insulated flooring, and stainless-steel sit-on kerbs within an extended area of the facility. The upcoming second phase will take place in further extensions on either side of the existing building, where its team will construct new hygienic rooms including an assembly area, despatch office and ambient store. This will be completed using over 3000m² of Kingspan Quadcore panelling, utilizing a white food-safe internal finish.
Stancold’s responsibilities also include working around a mezzanine floor within the existing area, creating openings for dock leveller installation and seamlessly integrating sectional doors into the loading area.
The team have worked hard throughout the project’s design and planning stages so far, value-engineering a solution that not only takes into consideration the end user’s budgetary needs, but also a specification that meets the operational needs of the facility. This meant offering different panel systems and finishes to find the most suitable.
