Stalatube invests in production areas

Stalatube Oy has announced that it has invested over EUR 7 million in machinery and production areas. The investments were made in the current production areas in Lahti, Finland, and as a whole they represent the biggest project in the history of the company. The acquisition of a new cutting line, installed recently, was the key milestone of the project. Full production speed will be reached in the course of September this year. The project consists of a cutting line for stainless steel coils, its production hall, a storage hall for coils used as raw material as well as a high-rise storehouse for manufactured tubes. Investments have also been made in improving the tube manufacturing process.
