Stainless Structurals forms sister company

Stainless Structurals, LLC, has formed a sister company, Stainless Structurals Works, LLC, in Conroe, Texas. The owner of 40 acres in Conroe, Stainless Structurals Works has executed a contract for construction of a 124,000sq/ft facility. Upon completion, this plant will manufacture laser fused stainless steel shapes, items currently produced by Montanstahl SA, of Stabio, Switzerland. As the developer of the laser fusion technology, Montanstahl is partner to both entities. Products will consist of both standard and custom shapes, square and rectangular tube; the facility will also manufacture custom steel and stainless steel curtainwall shapes. Completion of the building is expected by the fourth quarter of 2011, with full production scheduled for the first quarter of 2012.
