Stainless Steel World is expanding its presence in the Middle East with a new event in Muscat, Oman: Stainless Steel World Middle East Exhibition (SSWMEE) on 9-11 March 2020. The exhibition will form part of the large and well-established Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) event. OPES is the only event in Oman that serves the entire oil and gas industry and is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Oil & Gas of Oman.
SSWMEE will provide a unique opportunity for international manufacturers and suppliers of corrosion resistant alloys to access key purchasers and end users from both the local Oman market as well as the wider Middle East region. It will provide an effective business and networking platform, serving as a key meeting point for energy professionals, oil and gas companies, policy and decision makers, and stakeholders.
Visitors to the SSWMEE exhibition will also have the opportunity to attend the Stainless Knowledge Forum, featuring invited materials experts who will share their expertise about issues pertinent to end users in the Middle Eastern market.
Oman’s oil and gas industry plays an important role in the economy of the Middle East and is poised for continued growth, owing to rising global demand leading up to 2050, more buoyant global energy prices, and renewed investment. With USD 20.8bn in project contracts scheduled to be awarded between 2018 and 2021, the Oman market offers exciting business opportunities for Stainless Steel World exhibitors in the years ahead.
