Axium process, hygienic stainless steel fabricators, now offer a comprehensive range of stainless steel tank manways which includes a new PED certified range with working pressures of up to 8barg and a crevice free option which is designed with a domed, low product hold-up cover and EPDM glue-less seal to minimise potential bacterial contamination. The company’s stock of manways are available with material certification to BS EN 1004 / DIN 50049 3.1 and include rectangular, oval and circular options. Designed for low and high pressure applications, sizes range from 100mm up to 1200mm diameter and include lever, clamp and swivel arm options. Standard seal options include silicone or EPDM depending upon the type of manway as well as a range of replacement seals which include Vitonâ, nitrile, and natural rubber seal options.
