Stainless steel production turns out at 21.1M

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), a non–profit research organization which serves as the world forum on all aspects of the international stainless steel industry and is located in Brussels, has released figures for the first half year of 2015 showing that at 21.1M metric tons stainless steel melt shop production decreased 0.7% year–on–year. Production increased in the Americas and in China. Figures have been released for various regions including Western Europe/Africa, Central/Eastern Europe, America, Asia and China.
