Stainless steel hazardous location fixtures

The stainless steel hazardous location fluorescent light fixture from Larson Electronics is designed for use in wet areas and salt-water marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical to equipment longevity and safety. This fixture is constructed of non-corrosive materials including stainless steel housing, a poured in gasket for reliable sealing and an impact resistant acrylic diffuser.

Corrosion resistant stainless steel latches secure the lamp cover to the housing and provides a firm lock against the poured in seal to prevent drips and water intrusion. Larson’s explosion proof fluorescent light fixture is Class 1 Division 1 approved for hazardous locations where flammable chemical and petrochemical vapours exist or have the potential to exist.

This fixture carries a T6 temperature rating and comes standard with two fluorescent lamps. The lamps are protected by heat and impact resistant Pyrex tubes and the fixture is constructed of copper free aluminium alloy.
