Stainless servo gearmotor keeps it clean

A servo gearmotor designed specifically for hygiene-critical environments in the food, biomedical and pharmaceutical industries has been introduced by Bayside Motion Group. The company believes it to be a first of its type The new ‘Stealth’ servo gearmotor is totally enclosed in an IP67, passivated, corrosion-resistant, 300 series stainless steel housing with an internal terminal block accessed via dual redundant seals at the back of the motor. Consequently, it is ideal for locations demanding the most arduous cleaning routines, including caustic wash downs. It is available in 5, 7 and 10 frame sizes with torque outputs ranging from 1.5 to 25Nm. Like Bayside’s standard servo gearmotors, it is a fully integrated unit incorporating all mechanical and electronic elements in a single unit and employs a common shaft for long-life, smooth running.
