Stainless price stability

Throughout 2001 and for all this year, stainless steel selling prices in the EU were reasonably steady, according to an article in the August issue of Stainless Steel Review. They look set to remain firm well into the final quarter. This period of stability could prove to be highly beneficial to the industry. Customers will feel more comfortable specifying stainless steels for major long-term projects. This should help to maintain the strong rates of growth in demand.
