Nisshin Steel and Baosteel will jointly produce stainless pipes to be used as vent pipe for automobiles. The plant will be erected at Ningbo in Zhejiang Province with production slated for January 2008. The JV will source feedstock from Ningbo Baoxin Stainless and the JV will produce pipes for Japanese invested automakers with an estimated capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum.
