China’s largest producer of stainless steel in Shanxhi province Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. has decided to invest in setting up a new 50,000 tonnes large dia seamless tube mill. Construction of the plant has recently started and is expected to be completed by the end of next year. The new mill will produce special seamless steel pipe with high end steel and alloy grade steels for petroleum, boilers and nuclear sector.
