Borusan Mannesmann will install a spirally welded pipe mill in Hellin of SE of Spain, adjacent to Socotherm Espana pipe coating facilities. Socotherm, a company in the field of pipe coating and insulation for the energy transportation, started a cooperation for the Iberian Peninsula. In consideration of the very positive forecast of Iberian pipe market, both for oil & gas and water projects, Borusan Group has incorporated a company, named Borusan Mannesmann Espana SA with the purpose of setting up a pipe mill in Spain for the production of spirally welded pipes. The pipe mill will have an initial annual capacity of about 50,000tns.
