Spectro Analytical Instruments produced and delivered spectrometer number 30,000 in September 2008. The Spectrotest mobile metal analyzer, with the serial tag 30,000, was purchased by Butting GmbH, a stainless steel fabricator and long-time Spectro customer, for incoming quality control testing. The 30,000th instrument was delivered to Butting GmbH in Knesebeck, near Wolfsburg, Germany. Steeped in tradition, Butting produces longitudinally welded tubes and tube accessories for the chemical and petrochemical industries as well as for plant engineering.
