Spectrometer companies to co-operate

Philips Analytical BV, headquartered in Almelo, The Netherlands, and OBLF GmbH, headquartered in Witten, Germany, have announced a formal co-operation agreement between the two companies. The co-operation has already proven valuable in the past in common projects for fully automated laboratory systems. In connection with these projects Philips Analytical took full project responsibility while applying their own X-ray spectrometers and the OBLF optical emission spectrometers. The new co-operation agreement also includes the exchange of marketing and sales intelligence as well as of technical experience. For the future the co-operation is planned to be further extended into exchange of development know-how and even joint development projects are under consideration.
