Special Piping Materials Ltd (SPM) has announced that it is increasing its global presence by opening an office in Houston, Texas. Daniel Composto has been appointed VP Sales Executive. SPM have already created inroads in the USA, South American and Canadian Markets and Mr Composto plans to increase these with a permanent address in the heart of the USA’s oil industry. This new venture gives SPM a global sales and service team with offices in England, Singapore, Australia, Scotland and now the USA. The recent addition of an office and warehouse in Aberdeen, Scotland has also proved successful in servicing Scotland, the North Sea, and surrounding areas. During the last three years SPM has dramatically increased its European manufactured stock level of pipes, fittings and flanges. Stock is now kept in Singapore, Britain and Australia of Duplex S31803, Super Duplex S32750/60, 6% Moly, nickel alloys and stainless steels. SPM also carry flanges in stock part machined ready to produce raised face or RTJ finish in any wall thickness. Key markets for Special Piping Materials include petro-chemical, energy, oil & gas and FPSO.
