Special Metals Corporation has announced that Dennis L. Wanlass has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer. J. Garvin Warden, who has served as the Chief Restructuring Officer since the Company and its US subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganisation under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code, is winding down his daily involvement to return to his crisis management business, Cornerstone Capital Advisors, Ltd, in Pittsburgh, PA.
In an expansion of his current role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Dennis L. Wanlass will now assume the duties of Chief Restructuring Officer, a requisite position under the terms of the company’s post-petition revolving credit agreement.
