Fluor Corporation has been selected by ENAGAS to provide construction management services for the expansion of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification plant in Huelva, Spain. The project aims to increase the vaporisation capacity of the existing maritime LNG import terminal from 975,000 to 1.35 million normal cubic metres per hour, adding a new LNG tank and related equipment. Off-site and auxiliary facilities also will be revamped in order to meet new requirements. The project, scheduled for completion in mid-2006, will be executed out of Fluor’s offices in Madrid and Asturias, Spain.
