Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company Asadollah Salehiforuz has said that operations for development of the phases 4 and 5 of South Pars gas field will start as of next year. Salehiforuz said that five million cubic metres of natural gas, 80,000 barrels of liquid gases, 400 tons of sulphur, and one million tons of ethane are expected to be produced a daily based on the schedule. He added that moreover, one million tons of liquid gas is also scheduled to be obtained from the two phases so as to meet the feed stock of the petrochemical units. The Iranian official said executive operations on the two phases rest with the companies Ajib, Petropars and Nikou.
