South African Stainless Awards 2008

Held every second year since 1998, the South African Stainless Awards recognise and applaud exceptional achievements in the stainless steel industry. Award categories include: The Stainless Steel Award; Best Stainless Steel Project; Best Stainless Steel Product; Best Stainless Steel Services; Innovation Award; Achievement Award; and Student Award. The judging panel is comprised of seven members and a chairperson. This panel represents the wide stakeholder demographic of the industry, with bold old, diversified and new faces considering the entries. The criteria with which they will use to judge the entries include: excellence, innovation, sustainability aspects, efficiency of the project, completion of the job, quality, impact on the environment, and job creation. Closing date for entries is 31 July 2008, and winners will be announced at a gala awards evening to be held on 16 October 2008.
